The revolutionary new V9X V6 diesel Navara will be available in the 4th quarter of 2010. The new direct injection V6 turbodiesel engine delivers high levels of performance with strong economy, competitive emissions and class-leading refinement. Power output is 170kW, while torque output of 550Nm leads the class. Peak torque is achieved from a low 1700 rpm all the way to 2500 rpm, while 500Nm is available from a mere 1500 rpm. Idle speed is an exceptionally low 650rpm, with none of the vibrations and noise usually associated with a diesel. Coupled with Navara’s 3000 kg towing capacity, this engine is made for exceptional towing performance.
